Lots to say about this mural. First, I only gave it 5 stars because it wasn't expensive - and you get what you pay for... Here are the issues:1) It is printed on heavy paper, but not wallpaper quality. If you get it wet, it wrinkles. You CAN'T use wallpaper paste to put it up. We tested a piece we had to cut off to make it fit, and it looked like we had wadded it up before we hung it. We used black thumbtacks and 2-sided tape.2) It comes cut into 8 panels, and the edge of one panel doesn't necessarily line up with the next. We had to tuck one panel underneath the next to get the picture to line up, and panel #8 just DIDN'T line up. Now, I'm talking about an eighth of an inch off, but it I could see it, and it bothered me.3) Because of the quality of the paper, it is essential that the wall you hang it on is perfectly flat and even. Our wall has a slight raised area from a bad repair job (a 3 foot by 3 foot area, raised 1/4 inch) - which is WHY we wanted the mural. I expected to be able to SEE the raised area, but the mural has wrinkles from the area going in all directions - BAD ones. Thicker paper would have been better.BUT, it would have cost more. We feel we got a LARGE piece of art that bettered the room it is in, for a price low enough to make it a good purchase - - If you want perfection... this isn't it.We made fake window slats, like the window on "Friends," out of trim wood, and put it over the mural, essentially hiding all the defects. For a hundred dollars total, it looks pretty good.
